When built the lighting system employed 96 lights on the top of the pavilion with a total candlepower of 14,000. Strip lights were located on the side and for foot lights.

The goal of the Roxbury Bandshell Preservation
Alliance is to promote Johnstown's rich, diverse
cultural and historic heritage through a celebration of
music, education and artistry at the restored Roxbury
Bandshell, the crown jewel of Johnstown's cultural
renaissance.
This crown jewel will also serve as a centerpiece of
exhibition for the arts, our region's storied past and
technological future, a public forum for the exchange of
political, philosophical and spiritual thought, and as a
multi-purpose meeting place for the region's diverse
citizenry regardless of ethnicity, spiritual beliefs, or
mental and physical ability. |
